One of them says that it will mean that very little Australian meat will eventually be used, because the quality of the Argentine is higher, and can be supplied at less cost. Another says that the worst outcome will be the establishment of regular lines of steamers between South America and South Africa, which, apart from the meat trade, would be impossible..
