MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.

The anmmp meeting of the Phosaix Eacampmont, 1.0:0. F., was held on the IStb inst. There was a good attendance of members. Oat of respect to the memory of a deceased brother (Patriarch Pi Russell) the lodge was draped with black, and feeling reference was made to his demise by C.P. Bro. William Reid, who spoke of the long and faithful service Bro. Russell had rendered to the cause of Oddfellowehip. The scribe was instructed to convey the respectful condolences of the lodge to the deceased’s relatives. The following officers were elected for the cunent year : —Chief patriarch, Bro. G. Crichton; high priest, Bro. J. H. Hinton; senior warden, Bro. A. W. Oxley ; junior warden, Bro. M. B. Fefl; scribe, Bro. J. A. Walker ; treasurer, Bro. D. M. Miller; auditors, Bros. Oxley and Springer. The installation ceremony was postponed pending/the arrival of Past Grand Sire Bro. Herbert J. Williams, of Wellington, who is expected to arrive in Dunedin at an early date.
