Jimmy Governor was executed -this morning. As the condemned man left Ms cell he -walked to the scaffold, and made an attempt to appear calm by smoking a cigarette ■when' he> took Mb' place on the drop. In reply to the tisnal question ho said that be had nothing to say. As the fatoM moment approached he gare evidence-of fainting. The bolt -was immediately drawn, and death -was instantaneous.
