However, with the advent of Jack Frost things should improve, and as soon as the river goes down to normal we shall see some big returns notably from Hartley's and Elcctncs. Notwithstanding the declaration of a substantial dividend of 10s, the former went back rapidly during the week, but surely touched bottom on Saturday at £l2 7s fid (cum div.). they must be rattling good buying at this figure. 1 understand tho dredge only worked for about two days for her return of 82oz, and then on a high and drift-swept river. Electrics fairly held their °wn_though not working. They arc good buying. She was to start work igdu to-day. V inccuts kept steady at 63s to 05s 61.
