The Rev. J. Dickson was appointed to rei'rcsent the church in the Synods and Assemblies in Great Britain, Ireland, and America. It was agreed to send regulations down to the. presbyteries for consideration. j Deputies from the Churdli of Otago and Southland—the Revs. G. Undsty and Isaac Jolly—addressed the Assembly. The Union report, which pointed out the fact, that the Otago Synod hod not, according to previous decisions of both churches, consulted this church on the important modifications introduced into the basis, was adopted, and the Committee, appointed. The foreign mission report indicated progress in the work in the New Hebrides, and urged increased contributions to the fnndt of the missions.
