RAVENSBOURNE PATRIOTIC REGATTA.

The final meeting of the above Committee was held last night in the boatshed, Mr H. E. Moller presiding, and there being a large attendance. Record entries were received. The Champion Yacht Race, which has lately been a walk-over for the crack Thelma, has this timethe Trilby and Carina as entrants ; the Third and Fourth Glass Yacht Race has eight entries ; the 20ft Open Boat Race four; the IGit three; the Handicap Yacht four; the Model Yacht eight; the Maiden Four-oared Gig Race four ; and the other races are in advance of former regattas. A charge of sixpence will be made to the shed, where afternoon teawill be served. The Garrison Band will perform several wellknown patriotic airs on the green adjoining the shed, and the Madge has been placed at the Committee's disposal as fligship. Several tide shows will also be carried on at the same time, and the whole of the proceeds are to be handed over to the Otago Contingent. Tho Regatta Committee desire to publicly thank Messrs Barclay and Low for the free carting and lean of crockery, etc., for the day. It only needs fine weather now to place the regatta of 1900 in front of all others held there. The Committee have decided to accept post entries for tho dingov and ths 100 yards swimming races.

Dannevirko races were held to-day. Tho following results have reached us Maiden Hurdles, Dubious (€ls 4>); Flying, Waterford (£l2 5«).
