Tho American Government have decided that the Cuban tariff shall be equal to all, and the same policy will be carried respecting the Philippines. It is reported from Germany that great satisfaction is felt here at the settlement arrived at with regard to the Philippines. The States forming the Greater Republic of Central America have resolved on each resuming absolute sovereignty. A committee of the American Senate attacks the Nicaraguan Government for granting to the Eyre Cragan syndicate a concession to construct an inter-oceanic canal. The Committee declare that if the rights of the Maritime Canal Company are disregarded war will result.
