The junior cup match Oceana and Mornington was finished at Moutecillo on Wednesday and last evenings, resulting in a win for the Oceana by 37 runs. Mornington in their innings made 65 runs, S. Gillies (20) and J. Howison (12) reaching double figures. Butlin (seven for 28) and Smyth (two for 8) bowled well for the Oceana. The third class championship match Dunedin No. 1 v. Hendley was concluded on the Caledonian Ground last evening. Hendley, requiring 90 runs to win, could only make 41, of which Moore claimed 14 (not out), leaving Dunedin winners by 61 runs. Briggs (six for 20) secured most of the wickets. The Committee of the SchooU Cricket Association have decided to postpone to the end of the season the matches arranged for last Saturday.
