CYCLING, A Wellington telegram states that at a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Cyclists’ Touring Club Mr A. T. Bothamley was elected to represent Southland on the Council, and Mr Norman Dalston was appointed chief consul for Canterbury. It was reported that the club’s credit balance amounted to £325, Mr S. Wright wrote resigning his seat on the Council as representative of Otago.

Remorse 11., by Jacinth—Conscience, who sustained severe injuries to his off hind-kg some days ago, was shot at Oamaru yesterday morning. This racehorse was sold to Mr W. Gardiner last season.
