Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 10. (Received November 17.1898, at 10,10 a.m ) The following honors have been conferred in connection with the Soudan campaign Knights Grand Cross of the Bath : Lord Kitchener and Major-general Sir F. Grenfell. , Knights Commander of St. Michael and St. George : Lieutenant-colonel Wingate (Director of Military Intelligence of the Egyptian Army) and Slatin Pasha, Captain Yennet, Lieutenant Montmorency, Private Byrne, and Captain Nevill Smith have been awarded the Victoria Cross for conspicuous bravery at tho battle ofOmdurman. Many minor decorations and promotions have been gazetted. Rear-admiral Noel, commander of the British fleet in Cretan waters, is made a K.C.M.G.
