THE MYRIORAMA.
Mr John Fuller’s stock of myrioramie views is apparently inexhaustible. Last Saturday night he showed an entirely new selection, comprising numerous pictures of ordinary and extraordinary life in Japan—the country of “the little brown men.” Illustrations were given of towers, monuments, tomb?, lovely gardens, pagodas, etc.; the sports and religious festivals common in the country were faithfully depicted; and altogether the onlooker got a very good idea of the manners, customs, and aspect of the Japanese. Every now and again clever mechanical slides were introduced, one lot being especially attractive. The musical items, recitations, etc., were quite equal to the usual high standard of this company, and nearly every item gained an encore. The humorous duet by Miss Warden and Mr Ben Fuller gained perhaps the loudest recall of the evening; but Messrs John Fuller, Howard Chambers, John Flora (with their respective songs), and Mies Lydia Walters (with her recitation of *Jane Conquest’) were all largely successful. The entertainment was, as usual, extremely good and well worthy of patronage.
