TURKEY AND GREECE.
The Porte has informed the Greek Government that it has not sufficient means to withdraw until £1,000,000, as an inotalment of the indemnity, has been recsived. When this is paid the Turkish troop 3 will retire from Peneius, but Volobe will bo retained in o>'der to supply the troops until the evacuation has been completed. Greece has replied to this request that she cannot obtain a foreign loan for the purpose unless she negotiates direct with the bondholders.
