HE THE ST. CLAIR BATHS. TO THE EDITOR.
Sib,—ln last night's iesue of the Evening Stab I noticed a letter concerning the St. Clair Baths. Now, Sir, being a daily visitor to these baths, I thinkTshanfd know a little about them. About three months ago a quantity of sand and other matter was washed in from the ocean into the baths;- so mnch, in faot, that the deepest part of them was only two feet I Bpoke to the caretaker about it, and he told me that he had already taken out a large quantity of eand, and was still at it. But a month or 90 v ago sickness caused him to discontinue the work. lam certain that the baths at the present time are in a tolerably good »ra!c of n-pair and quite safe for fcwimrtintf piiVpusru. Tui-t'-ing that "One with tin; Cut Tot}" will tale care another time—l am, eo, C.L.
