A young married man in one of the Paris suburbs has had a novel experience. He had been married a few months when quarrels arose, and bis wife returned to her parents. Eventually she was induced to return to her husband, and all appeared to be going on satisfactorily. The mother-in-law, however, was not satisfied, and calling her remaining daughters together, sallied out, and after breaking all the windows of her son-in-law's houße, obtained a large beam, and battered in the door.
