BOWLING.
K.UTUNA CLUB. This dull opened their season on Saturday afternoon in snite of the threatening aspect of the weather. The President (Mr A. M'Donald) congratulated the clulj on their auspicious opening; judging by the attendance. their membership should be a large one. He also welcomed the visitors from other clubs. An enjoyable game was then played, sides being chosen by the president and the vice-president, the respective totals being 96 and 75. A pleasant afternoon was spent, and tea was provided by Mesdames A. M'Donald and G. B. Dali, assisted by Miss Fergus. Scores in the game:— President. Vice-president. Cheviilard, of Villegardin, France, who is now a hundred years old, is a great card for the vegetarians. The aged lady has never eaten meat, bat has lived wholly on bread, milk, fruit, and vegetables. Her beverage is eider well dilqted with water.
