It is reported that Turkey haa consented to adopt the whole of tho reforms in Armenia demanded by the European Powers. - ' ■ s . •

LONDON, July 31

Lord Salisbury has sent a Note to Sir P. Currie, Ambassador to Turkey, instructing him to adopt sharper moans than those of the late Government, with a view of compelling the Sultan to institute reforms in Armenia. _ -

Mr Gladstone also Urges more speed with regard to reforms. Times’ is convinced that the nations will support; Lord Salisbury’s attitude towards the Sultan. ,
