The Workeio' Union luivc received an intimation that nil branches must register under the Conciliation and Arbitration Act before the general body can i'pply fur registration as a rcprcyenta'tivc body. The union hive also been notified I hat no land is at present available for selUeinent on the alternate scheme, bttt that the .surveying will be put in hand as quickly as possible.
