ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
George Piper was stripping in a quarry at Weston (Oamaru) yesterday when bis foot slipped and he fell a distance of SOIL He received internal injuries, from which he died in about a quarter of an hour. He leaves a wife and two children.
