EARTHQUAKE SHOCK.

An earthquake shock was perceptibly felt in Dunedin a few minutes past ten tills

morning. Our Balclntha correspondent wires;—“ A shock of earthquake was distinctly felt here at seven minutes past ten o’clock. The houses vibrated, windows rattled, and suspended goods swung.” INVERCARGILL, May 7. A slight shock of earthquake was fell here a few minutes past ten o’clock this morning, the direction being from north to south.
