The Hon, Patrick Greville Nugent, charged with serious assault on Miss Marion Price in a first-class railway carriage on the London-Brightou line, has been committed for trial, The evidence adduced at the trial proved the lady to be of good character and well connected. The assault was committed while the train was passing through a tunnel, and the young lady gave warning to the guard by palling the alarm. The latter made inquiries in East Croydon as to the woman’s assailant, and he was arrested in London.
BERLIN, April 26. Jaeger, the absconder from Messrs Rothschilds’ Bank in Frankfort, took with him L 60,000 in cash.
