ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Thomas Finch, aged seventy-five years, met with a peouliar accident on Saturday afternooD. He was tethering a cow, and the animal being fractious, the rope beatme entwined around one of Finoh's legs, causing him to fall and to sustain a fracture of the right thigh. Tho sufferer was removed to the hospital, where the iojured limb was set. . Georgo Rostley, eight years of age, living with his parents in Castle Btreet, was playing in Findlay'a timber yard yesterday, when a large log fell on him and badly crushed his feet. He was admitted at the hospital. WELLINGTON, April 25. During the hunt at Tuwa Flat on Saturday Messrß Bridson and Wylie came into collision through the former's horse swerving, and both riders were thrown. Wylie escaped, but Bridson's horse rolled onbim, and his collar-bone was broken and his shoulder fractured. He also received slight concussion of the brain.
