The revenue from railway and wharf only was L 18.673 11b fid in 1891 and LI 1,718 Is lOd in 1890, an Increase of L 6.955 16a Bd.

At the'sale of the Governor's furniture, horses, and carriages to-day, ten horses brought L 293 12s. The four-in-hand team was purchased by Mr Werry (Wellington)— the leaders at 86 guineas eaoh, the wheelers at I<3o and 141. Four carriages were sold (exclusive of the ooacb, whioE was not offered) for L 267.
