FORESTRY.

The annual meeting of Conrt Pride of Dunedin, No. 3,780, Ancient Order of Foresters, was held in the Qddfellows' Hall, Rattray street, on Tuesday evening. There was an unusually large attendance of members and visitors.

| The auditors' report for the quarter showed a profit on each fund. The trustees' report for the' year showed oapital amounting to L 4.950 invested on freehold property, yielding 'over 7 per cent, interest, and L 550 in property also yielding a fair return ; the total value of the court being L 6.508 Iss 6d, or a little over L3l per member. The following officers were elected for the ensuing term:-C.R., Bro. R. Bryant; S.C.R., Bro. Thomas Bennett; treasurer, Bro. A. S. Adams; secretaryj Bro. John Wilson j assistant ■ secretary, Bro. R. Loraine; S.W., Bro. R. Mason; J.W., Bro. G. Carr; 5.8., Bro. v W. Pedan; J.B , Bro. J. Clark. Bro. James Hunter was reelected auditor, and Bro. Alexander Watson re-elected trustee. After a keen contest P,C.R.s Bron. Ingram, Carr, and Wilson were elected delegates to represent the oourt at the next district meeting, to be held at Inveroargill next month. Farther business waa performed, and the court adjourned till next meeting for instalt lation of officers, etc. P.O.R. Bro. Stevenson, of Court St Andrew, and P.O.R, Bro. R. Armitt, of Court Little Johny acted as scrutineers during the elections.
