BE SUNDAY LIQUOR TRAFFIC.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —In reference to the above matter, I, aa a moderate, wish to say that, for the benefit of everybody, all hotels should be closed on the Sabbath, the same as other businesses are. The benefits derived from this would be a day's rest for their employe's; also, giving more leisure to the police, and taking a great load of oare and risk from the mind of the publicans. While hotels are allowed to carry on a night trade, it is a great enticement for our young men to keep late hours. —I am, etc., Moderate. Dunedin, June 29.
