The ship Crusader, having sufficiently lightened, will be towed up to Dunedin tomorrow morning's tide. Tbe Bhip Wairoate commenced taking in ner Homeward cargo at the oro*s wharf today. fhe Beautiful Star landed cargo at the wharf to-day. The brigantioe Enterprise is taking in cargo at Dunedin wharf. The barque Clan M'Leod left New York on April 17 for Dunedin. She had on board 9,665 o-kses of kerosene and a general cargo. The barque Star of the Hast was on the berth for Dunedin. Lyttelton, and Auckland. The Beautiful Star, from Lyttelton via Akaroa, Timaru, and Oamaru, arrived early yesterday morning, and steamed past the Port to Dunedin. During the week ended June 1 the following vessels have been at the Dunedin wharves:—Arrivals: Enterprise 85 tone, Tarawera 1,269, Omapere3s2, Napier 48, Mahinapua 2i 5, Rosamond 462, Penguin 442, Beautiful Star 146; total, 3,009 tons. Departures: Rotorua 576 tons. Isabella Anderson 79 Inveroargill UJB, Beautiful Star 4Q, Mahinapua 205, Napier 48, Enterprise 85, Omapere 352, Rosamond 462, Sarah and Mary 145, Waihora 1,269; total, 4,799 tons. On March 16, at Greenook, there was launched from Caixd's yard the new steamer Gulf of Genoa, built to the order of the Greenook Steamship Company for their Gulf line. She will be of the following rlimentions: —Lecgth, 860 ft; breadth, 42ft; depth, 29ft 3in; gross tonnage, 3,300, with a carrying oapaoity of 5,000. Her ehpin>s, on the triple expansion principle, are of 2,000 h.p. indicated. The r.s. Matatus, with cargo from London, will arrive here on Friday next. The Empress of Obfna, whioh wan launched at Barrow on Maroh 35, is the last of tbe three Bteamersfcailtby the Naval Conßtruotion and i Armaments Sooiety for the Canadian Pacific 1 Railway Company. She is intended to ply between Vaneouver and Yokomabana, the , guaranteed speed being eighteen knots on the measun d mi!e ar=' IG| ! - note on a 400-mile sea trip.
