-amount of revenue collected at the Crutom-Louse on goods cleared to-day for consutantion was L 1,149 12s Bd. The Ben Ohau Station, Mackenzie Country, was yesterday fold under the hammer to James H. Preston, of Haldon Station, for L 7,700. The property consists of 54,700 acres leasehold, with fixed tenure, having twenty-one years to run from Ist March, 1891 1 rent, L 425 per annum. The buildings and improvements consist of dwelling-house, new wool shed, hut, sheep yards, fencing, etc., together with about 14 700 merino sheep (mixed ages and sexes) and 2,928 merino lambs, IS head cattle, and 17 horsesThe vendors were the executors of the late Richard Goldsbrough and Hugh Parker, of Melbourne. MINING NOTES. The secretary of the Sandhills Company reports that the new issue of shares created for the purpose cf increasing the capital of the company have been over-applied for.
