VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.

The Dunedin Naval Artillery held an inspection parade last evening, at which there were present forty-eight officers and men. Colonel Webb was the inspecting officer. After parade the corps held a special meeting, at which Mr James Allen, of Clyde street, was onanimonsly elected lieutenant-commanding, and at whose invitation all the members of the corps proceeded to the City Hall for refreshments. The corps has now its full complement of officers and men, and gives promise of getting back its former good name as a welldrilled oorps, and to beoome one of the beet bodies of naval artillery volunteers in the colony.
