FIGHTING AT MANIPUR.

(Reoeived April 30,1891, at 1.16 a.m.) News has been received that General Graham attacked a body of Manipnris 1,000 strong, who were entrenched, and blooked their retreat. Severe hand-to-hand fighting ensued, and 200 Manipuris were killed, Among the wounded on the British side were Captain Drnry and Lieutenants Grant, Cox, and Carnegy. (Received April 80,1891, at 10.30 a.m.) Three oolumns of the British force advanced on the Manipuri position, but on arrival found it deserted. The magazine was blown up, and the palace sacked and wreoked. Within the palace enclosure were found the heads of the British officials who were executed at the outbreak of the revolt. The usurperJobraj and the chief Senaputty, leaders of the revolution, escaped. Lieutenant Grant was severely wounded in the neck. [Special to Press Association.] CALCUTTA, April 29.
