SELLING IMPURE LITERATURE.
CHRISTOHURCH, January 15. The adjourned hearing of the cases against a number of booksellers for selling indecent literature was heard this morning before Mr Beetham, R.M. In each case the offence was admitted, and a fine of L2, with costs (L 4 9a in all), was imposed.
