A polytechnic school was recently opened at Kieff (Russia), and a section of its laws excludes Jews from attendance. This is all the more remarkable, us the school was founded by Jews in memory of the Emperor Alexander 11., and is for the greater part supported by Jews. A London cook has just written a book entitled: “ What to do with cold mutton.” Eat it,' of course.
