CRIMINAL SESSIONS.

At Wellington yesterday James White, charged with being concerned in the larceny of a yacht, was acquitted ; Richard White, who had been found guilty, was sentenced to six months' hard labor. William John M'Kavanagh pleaded guilty to two charges of embezzlement, and was remanded for sentence. At Christchurch James Gillies M'llwraith, for forging and uttering, was sentenced to two years probation.
