WANGANUI, March 13.
Owing to the bad weather the Regatta Committee have postponed the Champion Fours, but will endeavor to carry through tho other events. At present there is a succession of showers of rain alternated with gusts of wind, and the river is in a state of flood.
BLENHEIM, March 13,
William Ramsey, late lessee of tho Phcunix Brewery, which was recently burnt down under suspicious circumstances, has been committed for trial on a charge of forgery by altering LI 15s in a receipt to L2 15s.
