(Rcc.ived November 4,1587, at 1.20 a.m.) fhe usual weekly wool sales of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) took place to-day, when 0,000 bales were submitted to auction in the presence of a large attendance of buyers Spirited competition was manifested, and prices obtained were about equal co those of last week's sales. A parcel of Western District greasy lambswool realised 12Jd per lb, merino combing lOd, and scoured as much j»s 16id.
