[By Electric Telegraph.—Comfbighs.] [Redter's Telegrams. MONETARY AND COMMERCIAL. LONDON, November 1. (Received November 8, 1887, at 11 p in.) Consols are steady at 102 J. New Zealand 4 per cent, inscribed stock is still quoted at par. New Zealand 5 per cent. 10-40 loan is at L 99 15s (ex dividend). The market rate is 3 per cent., being 1 per cent, below the bank rate. Colonial breadßtuffs are without quotable change. Tallow: Beef of fair average quality is at 22s 6d per cwt; mutton do, 23s Cd. The stock of tallow iu London is 10,700 casks. Scotch pig-iron, (f.o.b. at Clyde), 31s per ton. November 2. (Reoelved November 4, 1887, at 1.20 a.m.) Consols have advanced to 102J, and the market rate of discount to 3£ per cent. POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS. LONDON, November 2. (Received November 3,1857, at 10.20 p.m.) Sir Saul Samuel (Agent-General for New South Wales), Sir Graham Berry (AgentGeneral for Victoria), and Sir Arthur Blyth (Agent-General for South Australia) had an interview with Mr Goschen (Chancellor of the Exchequer) and Mr Cecil Raikes (Post-master-General) on the subject of the contracts for the conveyance of mails and the manner of dividing postage receipts between the various colonies and England. THE ANARCHISTS IN AMERICA. LONDON, November 2 The New York Second Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal made by the Chicago Anarchists against the decision of the lower Court. THE MELBOURNE EXHIBITION. LONDON, November 3. (Received November 4, 1887, at 1.20 a.m.) Herr Wermuth, German Commissioner to the Melbourne Exhibition, will visit London shortly to conclude fino arrangements before leaving for Australia. THE DERVISHES MENACING. SUAKIN, November 2. (Received November 3, 1887, at 10,20 p.m.) Advices from the interior report that a force of 2,000 Dorvishes is collected in the neighborhood of Sarrahaks, and another gathering of 3,000 has assembled further south, In consequence of these hostile demonstrations the gairison of Wady Haifa has received further reinforcements, ZULULAND. DURBAN, November 2. Further news from Zululand states that Djnizulu is being largely supported by the Natives in hjs action towards the British authorities.

Captain Everett returns to Australia in the steamer Britanda. He asserts that a syndicate is willing to provide half-a-million of money for developing the resources of New Guinea if sufficient concessions are granted.
