T. e Herald, from the North, passed the Pott t > Dunedin at 10 p.in. yesterday. . The steamer Manapnuri, from Melbourne via the Bluff, arrived alongside the railway pier at 8 a.m. to-day. She lift the Bluff at 4 p.m. yes’erday, had fine weather along the coast, passed Capo Saunders at 3 a m., and entered Taiaroa Heads at 7.30 a.m. to-day. Wo thank Purser Hudson for report and exchanges. The s.s. Manapouti sailed this afternoon for Auckland via East Coast ports . The s ». Mararoa, from Auckland via East Coast ports, arrived alongside the George street pier at 12.30 p.m. to-day. She left Ru sell at spm. on the 23rd i»st., and arrived at Auckland at 8 a m. of the 24th ; left at noon, called at Gisborne and Napier, and reached Wellington at 10 a m. of the 27th ; pushed on again at 6 p.m. same day, arriv ng at Lyttelton at 10 a.m yesterday, leaving for headrpia ters at 6p m She experienced lino weather from Russel! to Wei ington. thence strong S.E winds with rain. We thank Purser Dalgleish for report, etc. The Inveroargi!', from Invcroargid, arrived .fhm morning, and passed llie Port to Dunedin.
