QUEENSLAND SEPARATION. LONDON, May 12. In the House of Commons to-day Sir Henry Holland, replying to a question, stated that he had fixed a day on which he would receive deputations from the promoters of the North Queensland separation movement. He was, however, advised that he could not apt without Imperial legislation, and this is unlikely to be granted unless the Queensland Parliament resolves in favor of the proposed separation. May 13. * Tho Times' to-day publishes a telegram from its St. Petersburg correspondent! stating that the members of the AngloRussian Commission for the delimitation of the Russo-Afghan frontier are unable to agree.
