TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS FOR EASTER.
TO THE EDITOR. SiR,-Can you or any of your numerous readers inform me why it is that the railway authorities do not run an excursion train South on Thursday evening next. The 4.30 p.m. train is manifestly unsuitable to the numerous persons who may wish to leave towu on that date to spend the Easter holidays in the southern part of the province. The population between Dunedin and Clinton is considerable, and the authorities would be conserving the interests of the railways by affording the townspeople an opportunity of visiting their country cousins.—l am, etc., SPORTSMAN, Dunedin, April 4.
