SPORTING INTELLIGENCE.
The cricket match Smokers v. Nonsmokers was resumed at Melbourne yesterday. The former, who on Saturday had lost three wickets for 267 runs, continued their innings, which closed for 365. Being in a minority of 447, they had to follow on, and lost five wickets for 135 when stumps were drawn. The match was drawn. In the first innings Palmer contributed 113, Briggs 86, and Flowers 69. In the second innings Bates made 54.
