The Tarawera arrived alongside the Bowen pier at 10 a.m. to-day. She left Lyttelton at 3.40 p.m. yesterday. From Gisborne she experienced moderate to fresh southerly winds. The Wainui left Qreymouth at 6.10 p.m. on the 6th Inst.; passed Cape Farewell »t 8.80 A.m. on the 6tb, and Cape Campbell at 10.20 p.tn„ and reached Oamaru at 0 a.m. on the Bth; sailed again at 6.30 p.m,; passed through Taiaroa Heads at 10.40 p.m., and reached Dunedin wharf at 11.20 p.m, Expert, cnced fine weather and light winds along the West Coast; thence strong N.W. wind through Cook Strait, followed by a fresh S.E, gale and moderate sea, whiob continued until 8 a.m. yesterday; thenoe fine weather to arrival.

The Uahinapua, from Westport via Timaru and intermediate ports, arrived alongside the export pier at 7.45 am. to-day to tranship 658 bales wool. She left Westport on the 4th Inst,; called at Nelson and Fioton on the 6th, Wellington on the 6th, Lyttelton and Akaroa on the 7th, and reached Timaru at 1 p.m. on the Stb ; sailed again at 9 p m,, arriving as above. From Westport to Lyttelton she experienced fine weather; thence strong 8. W, winds with higheev to Timaru, followed by light northerly winds.
