Mails close at tbs Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subjeoi to any necessary alteration, as under Pot Northern Porta, overland dally, at 6.46 un Lata letters, mail van, North express train, at 8.10 v.m. SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE. Saturday, Ocroimß 10. For Northern Porte of New Zealand, the United Kingdom via San Francisco, Continent of Europe, Sandwich Islands, United States of America, Canada, etc., at 6 aid. Book packets and newspapers, at 9 p.m. on Friday, 9th. The above mail will close for newspapers at the branch post office, Albany street, at 9 p ui. on Friday, 9th; and for letters at 5a m. on Saturday, 10th. At the South Dunedin office for newspapers at 8 p in. on Friday, 9th j and for -etq rg at 6 a.in on the 10th. At the Port Chalmers office at 8 am. on Saturday, 10th. Late letters, bearing an additional single rate of postage os a late fee, can be posted in the mall van attached to the No/ th train, leaving Dunedin railway station at 8.10 a.m. on Saturday, 10th.
