Post Office Notice.
Malls close at the Chief Post Offloe, Dunedin, snl jcflf to any necessary alternates, as under i For Northern Porte. Overland, dally, at 6.46 a.m. Late letters, mall van, North express train, at 8.10 a.m. Tuesday, 25th inst., being a Post Office holiday, all mails usually despatched on that day will be closed at 8 p.m. on Monday, 24th inst. A delivery by letter carriers, etc., will be made at the counter on the evening of Monday, 24th inst., between the hours 8 and 9 p.m. On Wednesday, 26th inst. (Boxing Day), all mails will be despatched up till 10 a.m. Letter carriers w ill make a morning delivery, and all departments of the office will be open from 9 till 10 a.m. The s.B. Tongariro will leave Lyttelton for London via Rio do Janeiro, on Saturday, 29 th inst. Spsoiallyaddressed correspondence for Kingdorn and South America can be posted up till Friday, 28th inst., at 6.45 a.m. Late letters, mail van, Christchurch express, at 8.10 a.m. (Signed) Aroh.
