About forty gentlemen, including Lieut.Colouel Stavely and Captains T. C. Reidand Smith, proceeded down the harbor this afternoon in the Naval Brigade's launch Defence. A start was made from the head of the Jetty street jetty at 2.30 p.m., and if the wind proved favorable it waß intended to run down to the Heads.
