BAZAAR.
The Central Primitive Methodist Chu-ch Bezant was opened this a'tetuoou at the Temperance Hall. The members of the Church Lave for some mouths been working energetically to mike the affair a success, and that such it will prove is evident from the appearance of the large ball. S ven stalls have been arranged round the sides—four of these being devoted to funny goods, one to a Christmas Tree, one to flowers (cut and in pots), aud one to refreshments. In addition to the last-named a refresh-ment-mom hns been provided, fitted up with chairs ami tables. The stubs are pressed over by ladies of the congregation, as follows:—No. 1 stall, Mesdamew Kirhv, Buchanan, and other ladies; No. 2, iJeadurnes Ureu, Bacon, Barrie, Lomas, anlothers; So. 3, Mesdumcs Clark, Froggatt, and friends; No. 4, M i Howoit)>, Oook, Martin, aud others; flower stab, Misnames H. Ward, Duncan, Monroe, Birr, and friends; refreshment stall, Mesdames Cooper, Co die, and Thomson. The Ci.risnn s Tree is at’ended to by seve al of the .Sinday S<’b<<i>l children, assisted by Misses Shawl and M’Uoiie. Toe goods stalls are covered with rbc usu I useful and ornamental articles in gieat profits on and of exceptionally good quality, and the flower s'all prcseuls a guy aud refreshing appearance. and a turning-lathe in full work, and during the evening a panorama will be exhibited. The musical department has been well looked utter, there being a piano on the platform, with an accomplished player giving frequent selections; while the Orchestral Association have arranged to perform during tins evening and the Industrial School Band to morrow fvening.
