April 28.—Maria, barque, 465 tone, Bnrmoistor, from Newcastle. Passengers: Messrs Maroney and Leaueur. West Coast and Northern Ports. Passengers: Miss Piaistill, Master Cordon, Messrs Jedson, Moore, Gordon, and four in the steerage. SAILED. April 28.—Tatanaki, s.s., 299 tons, Griffiths, for Northern Ports. Passengers: For Lyttelton—Miss Howard, Messrs Thomas Maben, H. Stoneham, and George Bice. For Wellington—Mr Hanna, Mr and Mrs Black, and Mr Donogh. For Manukau—Messrs Broughton and Gatmore. For Wanganui—Messrs I Lauglands and Cotton. For Akaroa—Mrs Ashcroft" and child, and Mr G. E. Thacker; and 140 tens cargo. The German barque Maria, with a cargo of Coal from Newcastle, arrived at the Heads this forenoon and was tewed up to the anohorage off Carey’s Bay by the tug Eopntai. The final survey of the ship Duke of Sutherland was made yesterday afternoon by Thomson, harbor-master; and Mr A. Blair, shipwright, who have certified that all the repairs ordered by them have been well carried ont, and they o6hsider the ship perfectly seaworthy, and fit to pmseed on her voyage.
