BISHOP OF DUNEDIN.

To the, Editor. Sir, —I often pptice it statqd in tfye local and Provincial papers that the Bishop of Dunpdm has said, done, or will do so and so. Will you kindly jnfqrm m P who the Bishop of Dunedin is V 1 believe there are two Bishops residing here, viz., Bishop Moran and Bishop Nevill. Which is Bishop of Dunedin ? My own opinion is that both are bishops in Dunedin, but neither of Dunedin. Your opinion on the matter will much oblige—Yours, &c., Enquirer. Dupetfin, December 24. [There being no Opurob Establishment in the Colonies,' there is' no exclusive title to the term “ Bishop,” as applied to Dunedin. Bishop Moran is really equallyentitled to be termed “ Bishop <4 Dunedin” as Bishop Nevill, but being Bishop of the minority, he ia apt tp lj e excepting when specially mentioned. —Ep. E.S.]
