COURT MARTIAL HELD UP
Rec. 12.50 p.m. LAHORE, Dec. 21. A petition of habeas corpus was moved in the High Court questioning the jurisdiction of the court-martial to try Captain Barhauddin, of the Indian National Army, who is said to have ordered fatal beatings for "deserters" of the I.N.A. The High Court issued an order to the president of the court-martial directing him to delay the proceedings pending the disposal of the habeas corpus petition.
