ORGAN RECITAL

At the organ recital given in St. Mark's Church on Tuesday evening Mr. E. C. Jamieson played Bach's Rassacaglia and Fugue in C Minor, and the Finale from Lemare's Symphony in G Minor, which was written in Wellington on the occasion of the composer's visit to the city to open the Town Hall organ. The recitalist also played works by Vidor, Rheinberger, and Sibelius. In addition to three carols, St. Mark's Choir sang two anthems, Bach's "Jesti, Joy of Man's Desiring," and "O Taste and See" (by Goss).
