LUCKNOW, December 18,

The authorities have begun to release men of the Indian National Army. More than 500 have now been freed. These were captured by Rommel's armies in North Africa and recaptured on the Western Front. The men said that Chandra Bose had persuaded them to join Germany. Some expressed pride at having hoisted the Congress flag in Europe.
