BALTS ACHIEVE AIM

Rec. 9 a.m. STOCKHOLM, Dec. 9. The Baits from a ■ Swedish internment camp, who started a hunger strike a fortnight ago, broke the strike, having temporarily achieved their aim of evading evacuation to Russia. All the Baits were taken to hospital.

Sixteen Germans from Rinkaby camp who tried to avoid extradition are missing. They are believed to have attempted to dig an escape tunnel which collapsed on them.
