CONTINUANCE OF TORY IMPERIALISM
LONDON, November 24. The secretary of the Communist Party, Mr. Harry Pollitt, in a speech to a party congress, said: 'Unless the Labour Government changes its present foreign policy, which is simply a continuation of the Tory Party's imperialistic line, there can be no fundamental social progress for Britain, and the country's whole future will be gravely imperilled." . Mr. Pollitt added that Britain's future depended on her relations with Russia, but "cards on the table talk would not improve them, nor would attempts to blackmail Russia with the atomic bomb.
